OCCUPATIONAL SEGREGATION AND GENDER GAPS IN NAIROBI

Researchers explore the root causes of a pervasive gender gap in labour outcomes in Nairobi, Kenya. Using worker and firm surveys, researchers examine the relative importance of beliefs and preferences of both firms and jobseekers, and how providing jobseekers with such information impacts their job search behaviour and outcomes.
