ABOUT THE EVENT
The CSAE Economic Development in Africa Workshop was a four day event for funded participants of the main CSAE Conference. The workshop took place prior to the main conference and is hosted by a different university in Africa each year.
The 2024 workshop was hosted by the University of Pretoria in Pretoria, South Africa. The event included presentations from conference speakers and much more. This event was for invited participants only.
PROGRAMME
A four day programme consisting of individual presentations, training sessions, and one-to-one discussions.
ONLINE LECTURE
Professor Stefan Dercon's public online lecture on 'South Africa's Gamble on Economic Development and Inclusion, then and now'.

FUNDING APPLICATIONS
This workshop was for the funded participants of the CSAE Conference 2025. To apply for funding, speakers had to complete the CSAE Conference 2025 submission form and select "Yes" when you are asked if you would like to apply for funding. Funding has now been allocated.
